CANAL WALKS

Following the success of previous years, for 2024, we are offering:

  • Guided History Walks

  • Guided Nature Walks

  • Guided Bat Walks

Our ever popular History walks, led, by Paul Dadford, last approximately 2.5-3 hours and are jam-packed with historical anecdotes and information about the canal.

New for 2024, our Nature and Bat walks, both lasting 1-1.5 hours, are led by our trained ecologist, Max Devere-Summers.

Walks are free, but donations will really help us continue our regeneration of the canal environment - there is an option to donate when you book your tickets.

If you are keen to explore under your own steam, why not download our Self Guided Walk leaflet and take it along with you?

See you on the Towpath!

"Had a wonderful guided walk this morning. Our hosts were so knowledgeable and were careful to make sure everyone could hear what was being said by stopping at strategic points to share their considerable knowledge. Excellent!"

Mandy, 2021 guided walk participant
